The same can be said about the elevation of this process to the level of artistry. First of all, this, of course, concerned such an element as stucco molding, with the help of which piers and gaps were covered both between windows and above window openings. The stucco decoration often referred to abstract Baroque patterns, although it could well depict genre scenes. As you have probably guessed, the design of the base surfaces in the Rococo-style interiors was also very effective.

He had chosen Johann Friedrich von Eosander as royal architect two years before and ordered him to investigate architectural trends in Italy and France, notably the Palace of Versailles. When Eosander returned in 1702, he proceeded to expand the palace, beginning with two side wings to enclose a wide courtyard, and the central palace was enlarged on both sides. Bonifaz Wohlmut’s renovation of Belvedere in Prague, 1557–1563, may have served as inspiration for the palace’s top pavilion and its distinctive roof. The Amalienburg hunting lodge at the Nymphenburg Palace Park in Munich was designed by François Cuvilliés between 1734 and 1739. It is a splendid example of Rococo style with rooms such as the spectacular Hall of Mirrors (top photo) designed by Johann Baptist Zimmermann. Decorated by Jean Aubert and completed in 1722, the Salon de Monsieur le Prince in the Petit Château at Chantilly, north of Paris is another stunning example of fine Rococo architecture.

Dominikus Zimmerman used his stucco- and marble-working artistry to build the lavish, ornate sanctuary within the somewhat simple, oval architecture, as he had first done in Steinhausen. In French, the word rocaille refers to rocks, shells, and the shell-shaped ornaments used on fountains and the decorative arts of the time. Italian porcelain candlesticks decorated with fish, shells, leaves, and flowers were common designs from the 18th century. Luxury, grace, saturation with textured accents – as we know, today, all these trends are skipped in favor of greater functionality, restraint, and practicality. However, such circumstances do not mean that interior styles that imply chic, an abundance of decor, and maximum artistry are completely forgotten. They are still in the arsenal of designers and “shoot” in exclusive projects from time to time.

The interiors were sometimes small models of architectural interiors, with mirrors inset to give an impression of spaciousness. Silver furniture, no longer extant, was used in considerable quantities in late Renaissance times, usually crafted from plates of silver beaten over wooden formers. Rococo interiors were highly cohesive, with interior architecture, design, furniture, and art all sharing common characteristics. The Era of Rococo Design
Console and side tables, however, remained very similar to the Baroque ones, often very rich in decoration, with caryatids and putti, and carvings gilded in gold and bronze. However, one major difference was that tables were given specific roles and were uniquely labelled. Trespoli served as commodes in bedrooms, to hold a candle and possibly some prized possessions and a crucifix,[2] Guérdions were used near sofas for visitors' gloves and other objects, and were often round with a tripod base. Console tables were used at entrances mainly for decoration, and were usually paired with a mirror or painting above.

During the 1700s, a highly ornamental style of art, furniture, and interior design became popular in France. In the old days, the living room (or salon) was the central element of the house, a place where guests were received and balls and parties were held.
Everything is a little simpler with Rococo floors since they do not have an outstanding decorative function like ceilings or walls. They often involve using valuable wood or marble and rarely the decoration with a beautiful pattern. Edmund and Jules de Goncourt rediscovered the major Rococo painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard in L'Art du XVIIIe siècle (Eighteenth-Century Art) (1865).

During the formation of the Rococo, ships brought porcelain from China, which was not only beautiful, but also easy to care for, unlike silver and gold. Rococo differed from the preceding palace Baroque in that it was the style of small houses. Often in the estates of the aristocracy, common rooms were created spacious, but in addition to them there were many private rooms, so rococo fits perfectly into modern houses and apartments of different sizes. That's how wealthy the aristocrats of France were at this time; it literally looked like they were growing gold. Perhaps it's unsurprising then that this style was largely rejected along with the aristocracy itself with the outbreak of the French Revolution.
Poses are often strained, the torso twisted, and the musculature emphasized; the favourite Mannerist subjects are violent ones, such as the rape of the Sabines and Hercules slaying Antaeus. The Great Hall is a formal apartment created by Bartolomeo Rastrelli in the Russian baroque style. The Great Hall was designed for larger gatherings such as dances, formal events, and masquerades. The rococo style began in a more secular context, with Rococo-inspired embellishments employed to adorn entertainment salons. Rococo characteristics soon spread to more spiritual structures, significantly influencing churches created during this period in Portugal and South America. Rococo is ornate and full of gilded furniture like armchairs, tables, and trunks.
